Not a lot to say about these pics! I have never been to Las Vegas, but those of my fellow travellers that have say that’s the closest they have seen in terms of gross flashiness…. the key difference is that Las Vegas is full of hustle and bustle whereas Ashgabat is almost completely deserted – just a ghost town! The first pink looking building is the posh hotel where we ate our dinner on the top floor. The hotel appeared to be empty: certainly our little party were the only folks eating in the restaurant. A genuinely bizarre experience…..
